Biography
Charlotte Janssens graduated in the Master of Science in Biomedical Research at the VUB in June 2021. During her master thesis at REGE, she focused on developing an in vitro model using naïve hESC to study the role of the Yes-associated protein during human preimplantation development. In October 2021, she started her PhD under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Karen Sermon. Her project will focus on the origin of chromosomal abnormalities in human pre-EGA embryos.
