Biography
Laura Vo Ngoc studied Biomedical and Life Sciences at the University College Roosevelt in the Netherlands. She then graduated with distinction from the University College London (UCL) in 2018, with a computational master’s thesis on investigating the impact of environmental and intrinsic risk factors in early metastatic transformation in melanoma, and determining the impact of therapies on patient survival. She joined the NEGE research group in October 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sara Seneca and Dr. Alexander Gheldof, and works on determining the molecular mechanisms connecting the genetic etiology and observed patient symptoms in lysosomal storage diseases, starting with Pompe disease.
