Biography
Florence Perold gratuated in Biology molecular and cellular at the Université Lyon 1 and she obtained her PhD in december 2020. Her PhD project and her first Post-Doc took place at the Institut cellules souches et cerveau (INSERM) under the supervision of Dr. Pierre Savatier.
She generated new rabbit-induced pluripotent stem cell lines capable of self-renewal in a state close to the naïve state of pluripotency. Florence joins the team of Prof. Dr. Karen Sermon as Post-Doc to work on the causes of chromosomal abnormalities in peri-implantation embryos by developing tools of synthetic embryos (blastoids) and endometrial organoids.
