Geoffrey Duqué
Biography
Geoffrey Duqué graduated with distinction as pharmaceutical lab-technician in June 2018. He completed his bachelor thesis at REGE with the ‘subject: SNP analysis in the FSH-receptor gene of optimal and suboptimal responders after controlled ovarian stimulation’. After that, he continued his studies and in January 2019 he graduated with distinction as medical lab technician. He did internships at the Center for medical genetics in the UZ Brussels and at the AZ Sint-Maria Halle in the departments of hematology, clinical chemistry and microbiology. His subject for the second thesis was: ‘Validation blood culture incubator: BacT/Alert Virtuo-Biomerieux’. After getting both degrees he started to work as a lab technician for REGE in February 2019 under Prof. Sermon where he will be trained to be mainly responsible for the LSM800 confocal microscope and Lightsheet Z1 microscope from Zeiss and will be actively helping on other projects in the REGE lab.
