Xue Zhong, MD

Xue has a background in clinical medicine and completed her postgraduate studies at the Reproductive Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, where China's first ICSI and PGT babies were conceived. In October 2024, she joined Prof. Dr. Claudia Spits' team as a PhD candidate with immense passion and motivation, focusing on investigating the role of mitochondrial genotypes in ovarian response to hormonal stimulation and identifying genes implicated in early embryo developmental failure.
